Greetings, fellow Owls!

I’m excited to welcome you to this issue of Temple magazine and to begin serving as president of the Temple University Alumni Association during its centennial year. As we mark this milestone, we’re honoring a century of Owl pride while looking ahead to an even brighter future.

Like so many of you, my Temple experience shaped who I am today, personally and professionally. It challenged me to work hard, think ambitiously and make the most of every opportunity. Years later, those lessons and the relationships I built at Temple continue to guide me.

More than 380,000 alumni around the world share that experience. We represent every industry and background and are united by the resilience, determination and pride that define Owls.

Together, we can strengthen that community by supporting one another and creating new opportunities for future generations of Temple students.

As I begin this new role, I’m grateful to Amy Larovere for her outstanding leadership and the strong foundation she has built for the Alumni Association. Her dedication and vision have positioned us well for the future, and I look forward to building on that momentum with our dedicated volunteers and staff as we continue creating meaningful opportunities for alumni to connect, give back and support Temple. I hope to see many of you at the upcoming events that bring our Temple family together throughout the year, from Homecoming and Family Weekend to Season of Cheer, our New Year’s celebrations and Temple Made Days in the spring.

If it’s been a while since you’ve visited campus, my message is simple: come back. Whether you reconnect through an event, mentorship, volunteering or a visit to campus, there’s a place for you in the Temple community. Every alum who gets involved helps strengthen Temple’s future.

Thank you for being part of this remarkable community. I look forward to working alongside you as we build on TUAA’s first 100 years and create an even stronger future for Temple and for the generations of Owls to come.

Favorite spot on campus:
Founder’s Garden. “It’s beautiful, peaceful and a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and recharge.”

The alumni tailgate at football games.

Favorite Temple memory:
Fourth meal at Johnson and Hardwick Halls with friends. “Grabbing burgers and ice cream at 11 p.m. wasn’t great for my diet, but it was a lot of fun.”

On being a Temple Owl:
“Temple students always seem to push boundaries and strive for more. That drive has stayed with me throughout my career, and it’s one of the qualities I most associate with Temple.”
